Final Fantasy XI San d’Oria Concept Art

With some guidance from the local physician, Vallianeux successfully made her way to the San d’Orian Embassy nestled within the beautiful Ru’Lude Gardens district of Jeuno. She was greeted by the somewhat terse secretary Nelcabrit before being led in to meet Ambassador Jima--whom she found to be much more amicable. Vallianeux imagined that Nelcabrit was the picture of what one expected the stereotypical Elvaan to be: serious, unemotional, and self-important. But the ambassador was nothing of the sort: warm, patient, and empathetic. This was precisely the sort of Elvaan Vallianeux wanted to be. Whether or not she could successfully embody that ideal would soon be put to the test, as one of her first missions for the embassy would involve introducing herself to the Archduke!
