Sandangels: Beach-dwelling, these mers make their homes the closest to human populations out of any mer today. They prefer sandy beaches with small caves to hide away in during the night, living more of their lives on land than in the water, even when in mer form. If there are no caves available, they will burrow tunnels in the sand using psammokinesis. Sandangels get their name from their proclivity to flirt with humans, making games out of toying with them. Their tails resemble those of crustaceans. Prefer tropical waters and form huge pods that stretch along coastlines.

In this video I "redesigned" the mermaid mascots from Dream Blue Tails, but it turned into more just Designing Original Characters&I had so much fun w/ it!!! 7 characters with a mer form and human form each, I hope you enjoy watching!!!
