I wanted to finish my WIP last year but just... didn’t instead :’) but!! I’m a neurotic outliner and finished my 23k outline recently, and writing is actually going smoothly now that I finally Know Everything lmao

This post is to state that my 2022 resolution is to finish this manuscript come omicron or high water 😤 I considered starting a writeblr but ultimately I think that would just distract me from actual writing, so instead I’m just heaping everything on main lol

Lately I’ve been working on an original WIP (uhh, “working on” but it’s... in the early stages because I’m a die-hard planner but also procrastinator), and my brain can’t seem to handle more than one fictional universe at once, so that’s the biggest reason I’ve been under a rock for so long lol.

Buuuut then... so yeah anyways this post has an ulterior motive, which is about me plugging ~~Mo Dao Zu Shi~~, a Chinese BL historical fantasy novel that has four adaptations in four diff mediums so u have no excuse not to check it out (and damn are the fics in this fandom high-quality aaaaaa). It has the most amazing story and is an incredible character drama / murder mystery that will have u shook and crying/laughing/cheering as the plot unfolds. Anyways if anyone sees this and is also a MDZS fan, pls talk to me 😔🙏

Time to read fanfic, read books, write fanfic, write books (...tentatively), watch anime, watch movies, and try to get my brother into the shows I watch :)

Not as much out loud as is in my internal monologue lol, but a fair amount.

Hm. I’m really trying to think here, but nothing particular comes to mind, besides the general impression they give (which is kind of a cop-out answer).

Any special talents?

I regularly stay up until ungodly hours because I physically cannot bring myself to do work until the very literal last minute. It (usually) works out. Also, I do all this without any caffeine whatsoever. My only fuel is pure fear :) And I still manage to do pretty well in school. *pats self on back*

Where were you born?

All the way on the other side of the world in China :)

What are your hobbies?

Reading (mostly fanfiction), writing (entirely fanfiction), bingeing shows/movies. Basically, being a shut-in.

Do you have any pets?

Nope

What sports do you play/have you played?

I never really played any sports lol, and to this day, everything about sports news, sports rules, and sports fans still befuddle me.

How tall are you?

155 cm :’)

Favorite subject in school?

English, but Psych, Creative Writing, and Bio were also pretty cool! Though, honestly, a large factor in whether or not I enjoyed a course also depended on the teacher teaching the subject. Based on course content alone, though, I’d say the above four.

Dream job?

Ahhh I’m not sure! I think I’d like to be a biologist doing cutting-edge lab research of some kind, but of course I’d also love to be able to just write fiction for a living, if it were feasible.
