I only wash my hair twice a week if that makes you feel better?
My hair is so thick that I've gone crazy amounts of time without washing it. Suzie tho has to wash her like twice a day it's so fine.

omg I hope she has too! I can’t imagine what it must be like to have hair like that D:
It's def not fun. At least not until you find products and styles that work for you. Like I can't brush my hair unless I want to look like a lion.

but she still should have done something about her daughter’s hair!
Dude I totally agree. It's been a year since I saw the little girl too. I hope she got all of her hair issues taken care of because that was why I wore my hair up all through middle and high school.

omg ugh why wouldn’t the mother teacher her how to take care of it? why didn’t the mother at least braid it like you did? wth
Nah. The mom was white and didn't have the slightest idea how to deal with hair like that. She would have had to take her to a salon or someone to braid it.

omg that is really bad! TWO HOURS? did you use de-tangeler? or however you spell it?
No, we used water and combs and just worked our way through it all. She didn't know how to brush it without making it worse so I braided it tight for her and we told her she wasn't allowed to take them out until her mom said she could and then my coworker had a long not so nice talk with the mom about teaching the little girl how to take care of her hair. I bet once she does figure it out tho it'll be gorgeous 'cause she had ringlets.

but if you have a kid and you pass on your hair then you can teach your child how to deal with it! then they wouldn’t have to figure it out for themselves and take over 20 years omg
that's true. When I worked at that inner city summer camp one of my co workers said that I was the only white person she knew that she would be okay with having mixed babies because I knew how to do their hair. She and I spent 2 hours detangling and braiding one little girl's hair it was so bad omg.
