I desperately hope Professor Murdock teaches Torts to the first semester law students. Explaining the elements of Assault & Battery. The Palsgraff train explosion case. Students keep asking when it crosses over into criminal activity and he keeps telling them they have to wait until Crim Law next semester for that
(I hadn't heard of the Palsgraf train explosion case, so thank you for sharing that; really fascinating stuff.)
Yes, please! I'm curious about how much narrative space Matt's teaching gig will actually get, but I hope it's a lot because this is a really fun and--notably--new environment in which to play with the way he approaches his law career. Matt is passionate about the legal system and is great at his job, but he's also the Least Ethical Lawyer (we all know he got disbarred, even if nobody in-universe remembers it. We all read "Playing to the Camera"), and having a brand new context in which to delve into one of the biggest and best juxtapositions that lies at the heart of Daredevil--particularly one that has been woefully underemphasized over the past couple of years while Matt's been off fighting the Hand and being a priest and so on--is very exciting. Go on, Matt, tell the students about the importance of all the laws you regularly break.
