Samson rolled over and his hand hit someone else's shoulder. Oh fuck. He didn't leave. Guys usually left the morning after a good fucking. Maybe he'd just stay asleep and give Samson time to...he rolled over and smiled lopsidedly and Samson felt his Ackerman awkwardness rising in the form of a Hange random information spew. He closed his eyes to try and buy himself some time. Do not talk about all the plants that can kill in thirty minutes if ingested. Do not talk about the best way to amputate a limb. He opened his eyes and smirked as seductively as his screaming mind would allow (which must have been pretty seductive since his partner's smile only grew).

“I had a great time last night,” he said.

“Great, I'll get us breakfast,” Samson said. The boy grabbed his wrist as Samson tried to get away. Damn it, damn it, damn it.

“Stay for a while,” he said. Samson closed his eyes again. Do not talk about how many teeth you can pull out of a person's skull before they start telling government secrets. Do not talk about how fast titan's eyes can regenerate after being gouged out. Samson kissed him gently.

“I thought you needed some food to recharge after our wild night,” he said. His partner chuckled.

“All right. It's your room, you have to come back,” he said. Samson put on his pants and started toward the mess hall. He didn't expect Armin to be coming out of his room across the hall at that exact moment. He froze, with the door wide open. Armin got a full view of the person in his bed and his eyes got wide.

“Oh, a guy this time?” Armin said. “I couldn't tell, you were drowning out all his shouts last night.”

“Sorry,” Samson said, closing the door. Damn, he hadn't wanted Armin to see his latest conquest. He really didn't want Armin to know about his sexual history at all, but he supposed that was impossible.

“Don't be sorry. I can't even get the one woman I want to look me in the eye, and you can get everyone in your bed. I'm a bit jealous,” Armin said.

Damn, he wanted a woman. “If it's lady troubles you have, I can help.”

Samson draped his arm over Armin's shoulders as they walked toward the mess hall.

“N-no. I don't think you'll approve,” Armin said.

“It's not like it's my sister or anything,” Samson said. The silence. That said it all. Samson had been half hopeful he could seduce Armin's heart away from anyone, but not from Leigh. Not because he wasn't fully capable, but because, for all his teasing, he wanted Leigh to be happy. He took his arm from around Armin's shoulders.

“See, I knew you wouldn't approve,” Armin said. “I know I'm a bit older than her, but—”

Samson took the notebook and pencil he was holding and opened to a blank page. He drew a plant on it and wrote down a color description and where it would grow.

“Go out to the woods. Find this plant. Give it to her. She'll love you forever. I promise,” he said.

“R-really?” Armin asked.

“Really. You have my blessing at least,” Samson said.

“Thank you.”
