RESIST THE SWIFT (w/ Chase Hauck)

Rules: In a text post, list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Donât take but a few minutes, and donât think too hard â they donât have to be the ârightâ or âgreatâ works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag friends, including me, so Iâll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know youâve tagged them! Â
Little Women, Louisa May Alcott
Anne of Green Gables, Lucy Maud Montgomery (let's be honest...  the whole series)
The Wind in the Willows, Kenneth Grahame
Black Beauty, Anna Sewell
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, C.S. Lewis (let's be honest...  the whole series)
Joy in the Morning, P.G. Wodehouse (so hard to chose which Wodehouse!)
All Creatures Great and Small, James Herriot
Borgel, Daniel Pinkwater
Dear Enemy, Jean Webster
Spindle's End, Robin McKinley
THIS WAS A VERY DIFFICULT THING TO DO.

EXACTLY I just wish it had happened as it should have because it could have been the greatest. Instead we got whining about two boys who **in my opinion** were hardly worth it. We could have had it all.
the entire third book was whining but never getting anything done and then everything happened in the last few pages. she literally lost control of Katniss as a character. Gale's character got shot in the face for no real good reason and hijacked!Peeta was the only time i ever thought he wasn't bland.Â
ideally i think she should have started with a third arena then have everything ultimately crumble at the end. she had a formula that was working and when she ditched it she lost control.Â

THANK YOU Donât get me wrong I love a good love triangle and I think authors have every right to write whatever they want. But that book spiraled so quickly out of control and away from what that it was suppose to be it hurts a little bit.

AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON PEOPLE WHO HAVENâT READ THE BOOKS AND THINK THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE LIKE CAUSE THEY DONT
the people who haven't read them and talk about hating the love triangle are worse oh my godÂ
no but the love triangle is the focus in that third book you can't act like it's not it's literally all Katniss thought about like that book was a train wreck. i can see what she wanted in the book, like, i think people that talk about the 'real meaning' or w/e have got a good point, but the fact of the matter is that that's not how the book happened. what she intended for mockingjay is not what actually happened in mockingjay because she lost complete control and it's obviousÂ
