❝ a spark ignites and here comes lighter .ᐟ reader ❞
. . a presumed 'easy' hunt gone bad when a witch turns the winchesters most used item into a girl.
༉
sam and dean had the witch right where they wanted her, beat and bloody as a blazing fire roared above her ready to send her to wherever witches go. however, elena ( the witch) wasn't going down without more of a fight—a breeze blew in and a spell spewed from her lips. the lighter in deans hand glowed an orange hue, though not one of a fire. the witch scrambled away in the process, the boys too distracted to notice. suddenly in place of a lighter there stand a girl.
her figure was adorned with a black leather jacket—albeit the color was fading, making it have slight greyish hues in the mix. her eyes immediately lit up with fear, as she took sight of the two men in front of her. the silver pendant laid across her neck proof of the silver lighter she once was. she knew her fate as one of the many tools the famously known winchesters have gone through. she prepared herself to be the fire that burned the witch and that died with it. now, she was standing in front of the ones who were supposed to kill her, and she was terrified.
deans initial reaction was to shoot first ask questions later, but when he saw the timid—and vulnerable—stature of the girl in front of him he decided otherwise. the boys had wrapped both their jackets over her lower half, making sure to be careful while doing so. as they did, they saw burn marks and rust ( from holy water droplets that leaked onto the lighter ) littered over her body. if they hadn't gotten close it wouldn't have been noticable.
sam decided that flare, or even fire were too aggressive to be names for lighter .ᐟ reader, so he landed on feu. the french word for fire.
feu's eyes were cast down, afraid of any small movement they made. the backseat was her safe-haven. away from the boys and all to herself. anyone could tell she was scared of death—graveyards, hospitals, and haunted houses caused her great stress. even if she couldn't die, she knew of her fate and it plagued her mind.
crackle of a fire, or feu's song . . .
