Sam Nullscape headcanons (some are relevant to the fic):

He was very outgoing and sociable before Nullscape. Doesn't really like social interaction now, and is more awkward and blunt if you were to try to talk to him. He did try to strike up a chat with some of the adversaries, but the only ones who could hold up a conversation (Voidbreaker, Mart, Celestial) were more focused on killing him at the time. Found an empty island in the lobby, and he decided to get some of his stuff and set up camp there. It's also where he stores a bunch of random things he finds. Full name is Samuel D. Nullscape. (this is partially a joke, but his first name is Samuel. also the D stands for Diver, since that's the class used in the music video!!) He lowk likes dudes?! Found the same guitar used in the "Silly" emote one day abandoned in the lobby. He'd play it in his off time, and has gotten concerning good. Sam majored in psychology in college. Sam's hair looks how it does because of hair gel. Since Nullscape has no such thing as "hair gel", he just...kinda takes some water from Mart? I dunno, man. Got interested in SFOTHing when he was 9, and when he turned 13, Sam's dad helped him practice his SFOTHing skills by having mock duels. His voice sounds like hongmika's, meaning that he sings the LRS song!! (moomoo please let me have this i need this my celestial's kinda homeless i live with my mart, i wanna help him out) Sam often gets reoccuring headaches and migraines due to bonking constantly on walls and Springer. Also, the fact he uses Bell to give himself a significant jump boost doesn't help his case. Sam's mom died when he was 4, and doesn't have any fond memories of her. His death (and enterance to the Nullscape) happened when he unknowingly dueled a exploiter. He ended up dying and tried to respawn, but it didn't work and he spawned here instead. Had a chihuahua named Chomper. Died when she was 2 years old because of a car accident. Sam was 6 at the time. Doesn't like going through crosswalks because of said accident. If he were forced to use a crosswalk, he'd just sprint until he was back on the sidewalk. Likes reading. If you were to ask him for book recommendations, he'd tell you to check out The Outsiders. Cannot open a can of tomato soup, regardless if he has a can opener or not. Sam is both left- and right-handed, but uses his left hand more often. (Or whatever hand his glove is on idk man I was too lazy to check) Sam once had a pet cockroach that survived 42 minutes before he lost track of it. Legends say it's still somewhere in his house...
