â Biography:
âSubmissive.â
Ten-year-old Sam Evans was surprised at how rapidly the assessment came. Just like that? He barely understood what the term even meant. But he smiled and nodded and pretended he knew what was happening. His homeschooling began for the next seven years and a tutor was brought in, teaching him the importance of obedience and the correct etiquette of submissive in all situations. A submissive herself, Samâs mother, Mary, taught Sam that appearance was everything in being claimed by a good Dom. He was put on a strict dietary and workout routine, dressed in designer clothes, despite not being able to afford them, and sent to the salon weekly for âupkeepâ - including making sure his blonde hair was stylishly cut and everything else was properly âmanscapedâ once puberty hit.
Sam was often reprimanded for not paying attention and the tutor often lost her patience, calling Sam âstupidâ and âunwillingâ to learn. The outbursts scared Sam as a child, but annoyed him as a teenager. When he protested that he wasnât stupid, he was slapped and further berated, being told that if he kept up that attitude, he would become a void.
To an increasingly annoyed seventeen year old, that didnât sound half bad.
Sure, voids didnât get paid, but to his ignorance, all they had to do was work and the rest was taken care of. They didnât have to worry about exhausting and boring gym time, getting plucked and waxed and shaved until they looked like a Ken doll. They didnât belong to a person and they didnât order anyone else either. They were ignored and no one cared what they did.
So in the middle of the night, Sam stole his neighborâs car and took a joy ride until he was pulled over and arrested.
And at the age of 18, Sam Evans was officially a void.
What his underdeveloped teenage brain didnât realize that he was still a submissive, and the government was his Dom. It told him what to wear and when to wake up, where he could go and how he could act. And in Tennessee, these rules were stricter and the treatment more humiliating. Due to an overpopulation, a mass of voids were sent to live in Canada, Sam among those chosen. It felt like the final nail in the coffin; he couldnât even choose what country to live in.
But Canada was much kinder than Tennessee. Sam was still expected to follow everything when he was on work time, but in his free time, society was slightly less cruel and life became a little more bearable again.
Sam still doesnât feel like he can become a submissive and may have become too comfortable living the void life. Hard labor kept his physique the same, but gone are the constant wardrobe changes of keeping up with fashion and his hair is grown out to his shoulders, held back in a ponytail when he works. Void isnât ideal, but Sam knows that, though ill-advised, it was his choice.
