#salvaging 2017

and also, my pink baron fig notebook (at the corner of the photo) had been in my head forever and i finally managed to mix that color together with watercolor. bonus: the paper is a dream. anyway, that’s how i ended up making fake flowers 

i never posted a full spread of last week, did i? the flowers heavily inspired by porcelain, and the rest was just for the joy of doing some watercolor washes

how is it already the middle of the week and i have made no strong progress towards my finals

i did some quick florals just to try and push myself to actually commit to doing some work this week, and what do you know, it’s actually working. i can’t wait to see how the rest of this spread develops 

making progress over the break plus planned out my papers! i always lose myself working with paper, and it seriously helps that my 2b lead just ~glide~ over my baron fig notebook. the hand-drawn lines are also super cool 

that said, it’s so nice and plain in front, and i want to decorate it with some pins, but i don’t know where to start. so does anyone have any bookish pins/pin-makers to recommend? 

it was a beautiful day to go to the met aka history heaven and see starry night at moma

i made some cinnamon vegan pancakes from scratch and went to the studio museum in harlem today. on the unaesthetic note, i managed to add a few more words to an essay and sorted out my game plan for the week, so all in all, it’s been a good sunday
