I don’t think I have gotten this question yet! But lets be real here, if Piper was the hostage and Harry was the one rescuing her there’s a good chance she wouldn’t have even been shot in the first place. But, for argument’s sake, if she had been shot, Harry probably would have been quite upset, a bit panicked, but he would’ve kept a cool head. He knows basic medical training so he’d be applying pressure to the wound and keeping his eye out for signs of shock. And he’d be smiling right through it, and saying everything was alright for Piper’s sake because she’d probably be the one freaking out. I think it would be only when Piper was in someone else’s hands and he wasn’t responsible for her anymore that it would sink in for Harry what happened and once it hit it would probably be debilitating, imagining him losing her. He’d probably be a mess when she was in surgery, lashing out at people, pacing frantically, probably punching a wall or two, and Liam would be there with him trying to calm him down and when Harry finally just broke down, slumped against the wall and started crying, Liam would be the one trying to comfort him. But you know that even though Harry hates hospitals, he wouldn’t leave Piper’s bedside for one single second once she was out of surgery and he’d be with her every step of the way in rehab too.

As for the kids, I can see them being the type to throw them big parties with family and friends. And Sara would always need hers to have a theme and be completely thought out and organized. And she’d be planning it a year in advance with lists and diagrams and she’d go to the store with Piper to buy decorations and get upset if she didn’t get the right thing because she wanted it to be perfect. Violet would much prefer a lowkey party and she didn’t have a lot of friends so it was usually a couple of kids from school but then all of the 1d boys and girls and they just tried to always make sure she was having a good time and that for once she was the sole focus of their attention and she felt like a princess. And Jack was happy just running around in the backyard with his friends and his sisters, as long as there were presents. And I can see Harry baking all their birthday cakes from scratch, getting the kids to help decorate it and it would just be loads of fun all around.

And ‘Jive’ are definitely the cutest couple in my head. Clive has always been a reluctant member of the crime syndicate but he got pulled into it because his dad is the boss and he was his dad’s first son and that means a lot to the family. So he goes along with it but he also gets a degree and focuses on managing Shoreditch’s legitimate businesses and avoids guns as much as possible. And then one day he goes into the, like, flower shop, baby boutique, idk whatever legitimate business shoreditch has and there’s a new employee, a really sweet beautiful woman and she’s a bit shy and quiet and Clive just finds her so darn cute. And he starts to make excuses to visit the business where she’s working, just to check in on everything, but he’s sort of awkward about it and finally jill is just like “are you going to ask me out or what?” and they date and fall in love and Clive is so over the moon happy and he gets Jill out of the business so she’s not associated with shoreditch, and he’s planning on how he can get out of the syndicate so they can live out from under his family’s dark shadow. And then his father is killed and suddenly he’s being voted in as his successor and he’s got to take over this crime syndicate he never wanted but Jill is supportive, says they’ll figure out a way out of everything. And then one day he’s on his way home and there’s police everywhere and he just feels it in his blood that something is wrong and he runs to the crime scene and Jill’s car is totalled, her body is being carried off in a body bag, and he just snaps. Just loses it and vows to take revenge. And that’s how we get to where we are today :)

Anyway, if you ever wanted to know my Piper/Clive headcanon post-salute, that’s it :)

They did, yes! In my head, they struggled to have a baby on their own for a long time and rather than invest a lot of money into IVF or surrogacy, they decided they wanted to try adopting, to give a child a home who needed one. So yes, they adopted a little girl :)

I mean, we saw how she was when she first shot someone and thought she killed them, I don’t imagine it being much better when she actually does. Although its probably much later in her career and she has more experience so I imagine it would just be a little shocking in the moment and then when she got home and had time to process, that’s when she’d get upset. And Harry probably wouldn’t have been there to see it but when she was home he’d see the aftermath and just know that was what had happened, and he’d be there for her and let her cry and get upset and just remind her that it wasn’t her fault (because it wouldn’t be, any fatal shots would always be a product of the situation, not an intentional shot on her part; 1d aren’t assassins after all). She’d probably see a therapist at work about it and have her gun taken away for a bit until she was alright with going into the field again.

Hmm maybe. That does seem very Piper-ish. They’d be in the middle of a shoot out with a gang or something and Harry would cover Piper as she was reloading and she’d be like “oh by the way I’m pregnant and it’s yours” and Harry would be picking off gang members with perfect aim like “of course it’s mine, it’s not like you’re sleeping with anyone else” and then it would hit and he’d realize what that actually meant and probably just stop shooting and stare at her and she’d spin around and start shooting in his place like “think it through, get over it and then start shooting again or we’re not going to live long enough to see a baby” and Harry would bust out his best moves and lock down the situation and then insist on holding Piper’s hand the entire time they were being interrogated by the police that showed up at the crime scene
