I don't worship deities or powers that be, but I do however give thanks to my ancestors. My grandmother to be more exact. She was an awsome and kick ass lady. So I leave little things as offerings for her, and when I need a little help, I ask her. To give a little backstory on her, cause I think it's worth the tale. She was a WW2 War Bride, and was pregnant with her first child when she came over to Canada and landed at pier 21. She had anmonia, broncitis, and tuburculosis, and many more lung problem, as well as a heart stutter and made it through to be 92. She had 7 kids, double the amount of grandkids and just as many great grandkids. She was amazingly kind hearted, loved everyone around her, and was part of different groups to help others. She knitted, gardened, and loved making puzzles. She was my hero. I know that whatever problem I have she'd know the answer, if I have a problem, she'd have my back, and when I need help, She'll always be there to guide me.

Day 11: Altar'd State So I kinda have two work spaces in a way, one I use for candle work, and the other is my little sacred space that is more an altar, I guess. If I'm working on a spell, I have a little artists desk that I pull out and set under my Altar, and if I'm using a candle in it, I burn it near my altar. If I'm just using a candle for a spell or I'm cleansing my space, which is just my entire room cause everything is everywhere, I use my candle work space. Keeping them apart seems to work well for me cause then I know nothings gonna get burnt and energies won't mix that I don't want mixing.

Day 10: Nightscape Honestly not doing much tonight. Gonna watch the new episode of Shadow Hunters, and sort my decks. It's a very uneventful night.

These are my two decks, an oracle and a tarot. I’m not really good with them yet but I’m still learning. The art style is beautifully done. I love working with both of them, and they compliment eachother. I hope to get better and maybe some day do readings for others

So I don’t really stay true to herbs, I’m kinda all over with things, but there are somethings I swear by, Honey, Garlic, Ginger, and Salt. Whenever I’m sick I put honey in tea, in food, I eat it by the spoonful. Even when I’m not sick, I add it to most things, bacon especially. To me it has a nice warm calming effect and it just makes me feel good. Garlic and Ginger help the immune system and since I’m always catching a cold or getting the flu, I’ve started adding them to my food more often. Both are really good and I love putting them on steak. Salt, well I’m from the coast, salt was on and in everything I ate, drank, and even the air I breathed had salt in it. So to me, I like lots of salt, it has great flavor and is great with everything and for everything. Magic wise I’ve never really used them, except for age old traditions of cooking and knowing they are helping me, except maybe the salt.

So currently I’m not working on anything, just doing some research into some other things, but I’d like to do a spell to help either increase my chances of getting a bursary I just applied for, or one to help get me more hours at work. I’m leaning more towards the bursary. I want to get back into school, do my upgrades, go to university and finally get the career I’ve wanted to do for a very long time. I have high hopes of getting it, but there’s always that slight chance I won’t and I’m honestly scared. 

So my last dream was a bit weird to say the least. I was with my Mom and Boyfriend, and on the phone with my Dad, walking around in a store. Me and my mom kept referring to it as a dollar store, but this place had EVERYTHING!! And I guess I was hoping to move cause I kept mentioning it and thinking how wonderful and cool some of the stuff would look in my imaginary new place. Some things stood out in the dream, a hummingbird, a flashlight, an alarm, and a bunch of very pretty horse statues!! The horse statues were where I ended up waking up cause I was starting to get a bit annoyed. I really wanted certain ones and my Boyfriend pointed out how I didn’t have enough room where I was so I just stated that I’d move and he was happy to live with me since he was planning on moving also, but I wanted the statues. At that same moment as I’m ranting, a group of kids walk in and block my view of one of the statues I was pointing out, and then I woke up.
