15. Do they have doubts about each other? Are those doubts well-founded or exaggerated? - bc i can't help myself, i'll take wren and noah for 100 alex
Thank you for the ask :D From this ask game.
I guess for an OC of mine, it's not very novel that Noah worries that the life he can offer her isn't good enough. She grew up in the city, married rich, and now she lives on a sheep farm. He worries that she doesn't even realize what she is missing yet. Of course, the worry is unfounded, because Wren gladly trades all the money in the world for being happy. She likes animals. She likes doing things that have practical results. And she likes the mountain so much more than the ocean.
Even more surprisingly (shocked pikachu), Wren worries that she won't be enough for him. After years of denial and thinking that she just has to find the right man, she finally has to admit that there's something wrong with her (ace, girl, you're ace). Even if he insists that he doesn't care, she has her doubts that this will stay true, and I think a part of her will always try to be prepared to deal with that, should it come to that.
Of course, that is also unfounded. He's not fully ace (though I have my doubts that he's fully allo, either đ
probably gray or demi) but he spent the last 17 years alone without wasting a thought about that, so now that he found her, he'll take whatever she offers, even if it's nothing more than visiting her on the summer pasture and watching the stars.
