eyes so wide they cut like knives,

like the way my heart fell apart,

with every little start.

you take

more and more

leaving me with nothing,

my head

is pounding with ideas

forming them into words

is the hardest part.

though I try

but when it comes to an end

it’s all in my head

because those words

are pointless without a pen

don't you see

that you're my pen.

without you,

I'm afraid of the words

I think you'll say,

not the ones you don't

because I fear that one day you'll

leave me

and I'll have no place
