Saibot (the shadow clone of Noob/Bi-Han) can both be used as part of Noob's move toolkit AND as a Kameo. Saibot's moveset as part of Noob is like when he is summoned from Noob like in previous Mortal Kombat games. BUT when Saibot is a kameo, he fights like playable Noob.

Lorewise. It would be a great way to reference the meta aspect of the Kameo system. That it is a partner system using older versions of the characters. Saibot is a shadow clone of Noob/Bi-Han, but still a shadow regardless. A dark replication.

Saibot as a Kameo can also be inspired from potentially both Noob and MK9's Sub-Zero and can be a great way to symbolize Saibot holding memories from the previous timeline. Being the shadow of Bi-Han's pasts.

Coming up with how Bi-Han and Saibot's relationship gradually developed is one of my favorite things to do, since the added layer of complexity of the "two different souls that is also one." Such as at first he only noticed Saibot as a presence hiding in the back of his mind since his training in Dark Arts with Quan Chi, or that he was being watched in his sleep.

Saibot gradually started manifesting more and more, piquing Bi-Han's curiosity in what he really is. Before they learned they can speak to each other telepathically, the two of them had to try and understand each other through awkward actions. Saibot being worried about him being an impulsive dumbass, Bi-Han being a dumbarse in "Why is this shadow thing so concerned about me?"

Keep in mind at this point he barely has any relationship skills. He's grown up with the Lin Kuei which certainly doesn't help foster skills in relationship maintenance. Bi-Han is also very affection starved and touch starved, though had little knowledge in that; whole lotta "Why am I enjoying having him around what why is my heart fluttering?" Oh and did I add he's on the run as a mercenary trying to clear his name as being the murderer of the Shirai Ryu clan? Yeah, he has basically no allies or friends since he went AWOL on the Lin Kuei.

Saibot is the only one who kept him company, though Bi-Han certainly thought he was only doing so because he's quite literally attached to him. It's stupidly difficult even for Saibot to convince him that he cared because he knows what he is really like deep inside. How, through all the horrible things he has done, through his flaws, he had redeemable qualities hiding under all of it. It doesn't stop him from telling Bi-Han he's fucking stupid for shit from time to time, though.

But that also came with a downside: being literally a part of him, and unable to separate himself from him for more than a few hours, there is only so much Saibot can do... Like hold the cryomancer in his arms when nightmares of what would have been strike him hard and fast, or when sadness crawls up on his heart during moments when he so sorely missed all that he had left behind in the Lin Kuei when he went on this crusade.
