Every year during April, the campus is overtaken by loud jazz music, as well as different magic aspects such as creatures flying around the campus, and a week long carnival takes place throughout the entire campus, starting the night after the opening parade and announcements from the University President. Every stereotypical carnival aspect is brought to life at Sorciere Academy, but bigger and better. Magical rides, enormous funnel cakes and beignets, pie eating contests, bobbing for apples, jazz music almost coming from nowhere, any food you can imagine on a stick or fried, kissing booths, and anything else you can imagine.
This year, the administration has added a welcome event for the Fae, so in line with celebrating Spring, faculty and students are also asked to give a warm welcome to the newcomers, and invite them into the fun of the festival.
