I was having some anxiety issues at work the other day and I was like "fuck I don't know what to do about this" so I put my headphones in and listened to fall out boy, and it calmed me down so much more than I thought it would. that's what sparked those fob home/loser/diehard posts. cause I didn't expect a bunch of people I've never met to calm me down when I was surrounded by people who do know me and couldn't. to soothe my worries and tell me everything's gonna be okay. yeah of course "we're the therapists pumping through your speakers / delivering just what you need" and "we only want to sing you to sleep / in your bedroom speakers" why am I surprised
