I was going to draw Hiccup hugging Toothless but it kinda turned into Toothless comforting a Sadcup instead.
I usually can’t draw Hiccup well but he actually came out decent this time.
Collab with @kworking -They made the lineart, and I colored! Hehe, what to say? I had troubles coloring this at first, because I felt like it never made the lineart justice (you should have seen the black and white version with soft shading...its so beautiful ;u;). It’s such a nice close and emotional portrait that my usual coloring just felt...too flat for it. So I started experimenting! And this is what turned out ^^

No offense to the artist but for people who see tumblr as a way to cheer up after a bad day, the last thing we want to see is our often cheerful hero being depressed. Not only is it outta character but it just brings me, and anyone dealing with depression issues down by reminding us of our own problem.
