What's a mala? . A mala is a string of beads traditionally made with 18,27, 54 or 108 beads and sometimes a "guru" bead is added to the end making 109 beads. . This is used as a meditation tool to count mantras (sound) in repetition during meditation. It is also a powerful physical object used as a daily reminder of personal life intentions. . I like to call it a light or a guide because a mala supports your healing, your conscious evolution, the de-patterning of your subconscious and the ability to manifest your dreams.
