Got nostalgic for medieval illuminations, so sketched Lancelot from Sonic and the Black Knight vs a Snail for the lols. Loosely based on the first manuscript here.

5. Maria

Lancelot was a bright boy, always wanting to play, especially with Chaos. His Mother, anxious for his well-being, forbade the young Lancelot to go past the lake’s limits. "You are still too young" she would often say. 

However, Lancelot was moved by his unending curiosity. when he would have the occasion he would sneak out, to go explore the village of Benwick. But the villagers would flee at his sight, whispering the word "Fairy" like a curse and taking refuge in their homes. 

No one would ever dare speak to Lancelot. 

Whimpering over the people's fear of him, He took refuge in a nearby orchard. Hidden within the trees, he heard a melody, soft and captivating. Intrigued, Lancelot left the trees and discovered a young girl, picking up apples while humming the melody.

Without a word, Lancelot came closer, grabbed two apples and handed them to her. She lifted up her head and gave him a sweet smile, the very first he received from a villager. She introduced herself as Maria.

Y'all know how every time sabtk gets brought up someone mentions the Lancelot Galahad family tree thing that skyrocketed the dadow hc's popularity for a while until Sega had to say Shadow and Silver weren't related? Well APPARENTLY, while it's not canon in the main timeline, Black Knight kinda implies that it IS canon to their Lancelot and Galahad, to an extent- Just before the final fight, Merlina mentions the "rift between Lancelot and Gawain", which is a legitimate thing in Arthurian myth- but it only starts because Lancelot had an affair with Guinevere, and that information getting out caused a civil war that led him to kill Gawain's brothers to save Guinevere's life. Not only that but that very same affair is the reason Galahad exists, because Galahad's mother, Lady Elaine, only managed to get to Lance by using magic to take Guinevere's appearance and trick him. So in a weird roundabout way, Sonic and the Black Knight accidentally semi-confirms that their Lancelot and Galahad are related by confirming Lancelot's affair with Guinevere.

Additionally, in line with Black Knight's story, the previous king (I know he was an illusion but apparently he served as king long enough for everyone to be surprised about it) was corrupted by the power of immortality and drove 90% of people away from him because he was evil. So in this version, especially considering Lancelot's loyalty to the king despite the affair, is probably what led to it getting out AND the reason he was out in the middle of nowhere near the lake in the game. It's just that in this version it's likely everyone BUT Arthur that cares, and ultimately the whole issue is resolves a different way because of Lance and Gawain's loyalty to Arthur and the fact that everyone else is abandoning Arthur as king due to the corruption.

(But either I don't know how to write them or don't have the inspo for)

Ben 10

-A fic where Kevin's Alien species is actually delved upon and explained (Planet of origin, anatomy, customs, culture, etc) I HATE aggregor's design, is so plain!!! Osmosians are supposed to be this sort of alien chameleons (Or leeches, depends how you look at it) that can absorb and replicate ANY KIND OF MATERIAL and ANY KIND OF ALIEN SPECIES despite not being related to them in the slightest, is SUCH A COOL POWER, I love it!!! But we get so little about them ahhh-!!!

-Another fic where Kevin actually learns to control the (Murderous) side effects of absorbing too much energy, if he's a beast as Kevin 11 how much more stronger could have he been if he idk, reached some sort of 'Alien maturity' as in, only the young Osmosians go crazy and need to train in mind and body as to not go insane from absorbing too much energy or simply training his ass off until he overcomes the drawbacks of his own power.

-Crossovers. SO MANY CROSSOVERS, I want to inflict the Chimera transformation onto SO MANY CHARACTERS both in the canon AND from other media. I LOVE Falin's monster form.

-Also inflict both the shapeshifter AND the Succubi onto SO MANY other characters (Both from canon and other media) THE CHAOS, THE DRAMA, THE WHOLE 'WHOA, HEY' SCENE, I WANT TO SEE THE WORLD BURN MUAHAHAHA

Sonic and The Black Knight

-Lancelot, instead of becoming a Knight AT ALL, becomes the Lady of the Lake in place of his Mother (Who is canonically bound to the place, cannot die and cannot leave), not in a 'She never was' but actually he became her successor instead, (The reason could be anything, she fell so deeply in love she wanted to grow old with them, she sustained an incurable illness or a fatal injury and someone HAD to take her place or the magic forest and everything living in it DIES, you name it), Galahad is still his Son (Adopted or blood related, neither is fine).

Lancelot has a similar personality to Shadow (As in, he never developed the loyalty he had towards the crown, Arthur, NOR the knightly ways) and is instead, somewhat a 'King' or Royalty in his own right over the Fae and on a moraly grey area in his nature as a Fey with Galahad (AND MARIA'S SABTK COUNTERPART) being the last link to the mortality he once had.

AND PRINCE ARTHUR IS INFATUATED WITH THE GUARDIAN OF THE LAKE, He Looooves pestering him, dueling with him, discovering the intricasies of the Fae court, spending as much time as he can with him and they inevitabily fall in love even while knowing Arthur is mortal and there's NO WAY ON EARTH that Lancelot is going to pass the burden of Inmortality and a whole ass magical realm onto sweet, Pure Galahad, Give me drama!!! Gimme tragedy!!!

Monsuno

-A fic about Sophia's persective while her 15 years long imprisionment under the Hand of Destiny, in canon she was WAY TOO CHILL, no one comes back from a 15 YEARS LONG KIDNAPPING SITUATION normal and perfectly functional I want that woman INSANE and TRIGGERED, NOT KNOWING HOW TO DO JACK SHIT, I want her ANGRY and RUTHLESS because of it, she ain't getting locked up again, OVER HER DEAD BODY.

-Jeredy and Jon Ace old man yaoi, YOU HEARD ME. The whole drama it would have stirren up once Sophia is Rescued and now they have to pretend they didn't fucked when she was gone, Chase wanting his family back, wanting for things to be normal BUT THEY CAN'T BE, I'M SORRY BBY, THERE'S TOO MUCH GOING ON, and getting mad at the three of them.

-Jon Ace fighting with his inner Monsuno (Or developing a second consciousness because of the whole Monsuno Sapien situation), he's got 150 new instincts he doesn't know what to do with and which are pulling him in ALL DIRECTIONS, HE CAN HEAR THINGS HE COULDN'T BEFORE, other Monsunos, The Monsuno Essence ITSELF, the 'Monster' takes over and he doesn't remember what he did while transformed, I want that man going full werewolf, having to hide his terrible nature from everyone while trying to find a cure, going feral during high stress situations (Or when he runs out of the meds keeping him human) and waking up naked in the middle of a forest and a torn apart bear between his teeth.

-Six getting character development and becoming free of Klipse, he did NOT got ANYTHING IN CANON AND I'M SO MAD ABOUT IT.

-A whole genre of fics making Dom Pyro the most terrifying motherfucker on earth, HE'S CANONICALLY A SERIAL KILLER THAT ENCASES HIS VICTIMS ON MOLTEN METAL I want team Core-Tech developing ALL the types of PTSD when dealing with this bastard and BARELY making it out alive each time.
