My history with hairdos has been pretty boring. Having had long brown hair all my life, any experiments with variation have proved unsuccessful. haha Thank goodness for my dear friend Sara Culter and her straight-forward support for hair adventures! My husband introduced me to Miss Cutler as a hairstylist option for our wedding, and I never turned back. Sara has not just been a great friend, she has consistently protected me from my own ideas and walks me through thoughts of what to do. With a history of indecisiveness, in the salon chair, I love how Sara keeps it real. (“What you just said, made no sense. Your ideas contradict each-other. Pictures are good for you, so show me what you like.”)
She referenced the photos I had and modified the style/color to fit my hair type. What was long, dark and strait is now layered and lighter with bangs! Its a fun ‘do’ that is just enough difference for a fun change but not too dramatic to take away from a casual style. Please pardon my goofy faces…its hard to take selfies seriously.
A preference for more timeless and classic styles, “edgy fashionista” is not an accurate description of my personal style. I proudly leave the ballsy hairstyles and pattern-genius fashions to my friends Lindsey Taylor & Sara Sabaliauskas.
