Infographic Ideas
Recently I was listening to a podcast that explained just how large the Palace of Versailles was so I was interested in finding a way to maybe compare it to the average house, or some other more modern structure. http://www.livescience.com/38903-palace-of-versailles-facts-history.html
I would also be interested in tracking adoptions or getting data from a local animal shelter and trying to find patterns in that. For example, people often say that black animals are less likely to get adopted, so I could try to compile statistics like that.
My last idea is to maybe- like the shoe example-look at the different or similar types of makeup my mom, sisters, and I own.

Introspection, 2017.
The collage represents a combination of my personality traits, some of my best qualities, and some of my not quite as good qualities. It represents the balance and struggle between contrasting personality traits. Some images represent how I utilize the personality traits to interact with the world, while others represent the introspective, introverted side of me.

Because Star Wars is cool as heck and I’m so psyched to go see the new movie next Friday with my boyfriend and his family, I hope y’all enjoy my random little DYK Facts about this cinematic masterpiece.
Texting and My Life
Texting is a huge part of modern culture. I honestly didn’t start texting until I was about 14. It’s crazy to think that we let something so little be such a big part of our lives. I don’t text too much anymore, as I have realized there is usually more important things to do now that I am in college. But there are still certain times of the day that I do text, and it is usually only one of a select few. When I can’t call my mom, but want to talk to her real quick, I’ll text her. Like if I know she is at work or sleeping but I want to tell her something before I forget. I’ll also text my boyfriend a lot. He’s usually the person I text the most because that’s how we plan everything. Our schedules don’t always line up and that makes it hard to plan things. The last person I really text is my best friend Jake. He has been there for me all the time. Sometimes I won’t even bother texting him, I’ll just call. There are things I choose not to do over text. One great example is I was fighting with my boyfriend the other day and we just dropped it until we could be in person and work it out so there were no miscommunications. That is the biggest con of communicating over text. They can’t see your facial expressions and hear the tone in your voice and that makes it very easy for things to be misunderstood. The most news I have ever delivered over text was when I broke up with my (now) ex my freshman year of high school. I know that sounds really, really horrible, but I do have a good reason behind it. We were supposed to hang out that day and he lived an hour away. I didn’t want him to drive all that way just for me to break up with him and him drive all the way back. It is still very tricky using other forms of communication rather than just face to face, but it continues to be very convenient and I don’t this trend is going to die down any time soon.
