buck coming home from hospital. buck sitting on his couch, in his very silent house which still feels like smoke. remembering how cameron and connor were over just a day ago. and now they were dead, and theo was all alone. and what would happen if they found no relative that could take him in? buck tries to remember anything about connor's family and realizes that he can't. that he doesn't know. neither does he about cameron's.
guilt settles heavily over his chest; hes a horrible friend.
he thinks of what happens then. looks up foster families and finds the horror stories of what happens to kids placed with the wrong people. and he doesnt want it to happen to theo.
but could he actually do it? if it came down to it, could buck raise a child, and have the child turn out fine?
