Hi! How can I convert shoes without having sims 4?

For TS4, you can find a tutorial here (start from page 2) on how to use the TS4 CAS Toolkit. I believe that should work 🤔 You will have to reference other tutorials within the meshing section of this blog on how to add bones, etc. but you'd at least have the mesh.

Sims 3 has its own SimPE and a tutorial was written on how to convert TS3 CAS items here - this also would work for TS4 when it comes to bone assignments and t-posing.

just thought you'd want to know that in the googledoc for simpe tutorials the tutorial for editing a sims name in simpe (posted by theninthwave) is unavailable as the youtube channel it was posted on was apparently terminated.

Hi! (Same anon) Here's the situation. I forgot to add😅 that the problem is that I colored an accessory on my sim's hair and renamed the file name (renamed the file itself), as a result of which the hairstyle itself with the accessory on the head is not displayed in bodyshop. So, how do I rename the file name through SimPE so that the recolor works completely in the body shop and in the game?

Assuming the file name you've mentioned is the mesh/subset then you would need to update the property set to the new name within each recolor so that it recognizes the mesh name.

Alternatively, you could open the mesh > click on the gmdc > select the group tab > change the accessory back to its original name.

Hi anon, I hope I understand that you're wanting to rename files after you've made recolors? You can right click and rename a package file individually or use bulk rename utility app to rename en masse
