can we just appeciate how when vordenburg said “lovers who disappoint” that danny looked at laura, laura looked at carmilla, and carmilla looked at laura, but kirsch looked straight ahead. because he isn’t disappointed. he’s in love with danny and she doesn’t love him back and he’s happy. he’s happy because danny might not love him but she’s still his friend and that’s all he needs to feel happy. he and danny are just friends and he’s not disappointed in the least.
