Yan froze mid-step when the troll addressed him. He was obviously not as discreet as he thought, despite keeping himself downwind and moving silently through the underbrush. He had caught its scent from miles away and had decided to investigate, and once he had found it he had followed at a distance. It wasn't often he encountered the trolls, so he wanted to take the opportunity to have a closer look.
Since the troll didn't seem aggressive, he decided to approach. He gave the troll a wary look as he came closer, ready to bolt at any sign of danger. He sniffed the troll's leg curiously and then took a few steps back to look up at the gigantic creature, his head tilted to one side. He gave it a little woof to say hello.
