Song of the Day: Brandon Mitchell & S.W.A.P. (Singers With A Purpose) - "You Are God"

The anointed, new and rising gospel group, Brandon Mitchell and Singers With a Purpose (S.W.A.P.), released their highly anticipated single, “You Are God” earlier this month, and we expect the song, and the group, to make a huge impact on Gospel music. The Jackson, Mississippi based group mixes traditional and contemporary influences to infuse a fresh, new sound into Gospel music. Thriving as an independent group, Brandon Mitchell and S.W.A.P. has become one of the most sought after music ministries in the state of Mississippi and soon, the country and the world.

Singer, songwriter and musician, Brandon Mitchell founded S.W.A.P. in 2006 at Alcorn State University with a group of his fellow students. Since then, they have ministered throughout the country spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Brandon's upbringing and musical training have equipped him to lead a flourishing ministry. Growing up as a Methodist "PK" in Benton, MS, Mitchell went from church-to-church, singing and playing with his father’s ministry. His early exposure to the Gospel prepared him to lead an awesome ministry and create life-inspiring music. Mitchell currently serves a Director of Music at College Hill Baptist Church in Jackson, MS.

S.W.A.P’s debut single, “You are God”, was produced by gospel music heavy weight, AyRon Lewis. This musically vibrant worship song illustrates and celebrates the goodness of God.
