these days i just try to relax as much as possible and give thanks in every way i can think of. i figure no matter who i end up being, no one can blame me very much for that. i have learned the best way to discover myself is by noticing the effect i have on other people. so i focus on the comforts that no one can give to themselves. like another body to help bear the weight. or look at this: my hand could hold inside of it your hand, and in this way let us both be unalone. we are altogether unknowable. but i can see the shape of my core in these kindnesses. and this answers the important questions. the ones we're all born wondering, and often spend our whole lives too afraid to ask.

there are useful closets in your headrooms that open into / less useful closets / i rarely consider my luck / i have enough so there is no one to blame / time does not reverse exactly / but it moves around in higher dimensions / enough to make waves in the waters of right now / so set your teeth as you enter the hollow of your one-way body / you might yet grow another arm like a starfish / it could even be a gifting arm, if your fortune holds up / everyone will be sure to like you better / you only make contributions / and are entirely empty of need
