Catching the suit - out of reflex more than anything - Aoba frowned at his boyfriend, seemingly making no move to change into the formal attire, “Give me one good reason why I should subject myself to such a thing?” 

He hadn’t even heard Aoba enter his study, it was the kiss upon his cheek that alerted the jet-lagged blonde to his lover’s presence. “Mn.. Soon..” He mindlessly promised, typing diligently against a couple of virtual screens.

That ‘soon’ -  as Aoba had learnt by now - didn’t actually mean that he would stop soon. It meant ‘I’ll come when you remind me again because I won’t notice the time go by’, and judging by the slight shadows under the blond’s eyes and his occasional spelling mistakes, he couldn’t leave Noiz to it. 

One hand removed itself from the embrace, instead taking his lover’s hand in his own to halt his typing as he pressed a chaste and delicate kiss to Noiz’s ear, whispering into it, “It can wait until tomorrow, you need to rest, Noiz.” 

It really wasn’t fair how Noiz could get him riled up so quickly now, with nothing more than a kiss. Panting softly, Aoba looked up at the younger, cheeks dark as he tried to contemplate the pros and cons of his next question. 

He didn’t know, nor did he care really. Noiz slumped himself on the couch, causually folding his ankle to the opposing knee and making himself comfortable until Aoba was done.

It was a good fifteen minutes before Aoba came back into the living room, his expression showing his exhaustion. “I explained that you weren’t an Alpha so the police aren’t going to let them press charges against you.” However, he stopped when he noticed Noiz’s relaxed state. Did he not understand how bad this could have been? 

Taking a seat beside him, the Omega spoke softly, “Noiz... they were ready to come and arrest you. They could have forced us apart and....” Aoba didn’t want to say the last part, but it was left hanging in the air. 

“Yeah.” A shrug raised his shoulders to couple with his affirmation. “Problem?”
