   ✿];;-: With his nose stuck between book that were scattered around the wooden table, the young male had a big test coming up soon for marine biology and there was no time for him to dilly dally.Twirling his pencil between two fingers he read over some question in the study guide he made for himself and looked in the books to see if he had the correct answered beneath each question. But there was one question that didn't have an answer. 

 "Limestone and chalk beds are often made out of the shells of.?"

Ah-- how could the male make such a simple mistake into missing one question. As a quiet groan slipped from his lips he then rested his head against the open books. Studying was driving off the walls and he just couldn't wait for it to be over. Hauling himself up he shook his head and gave himself a little slap on his cheeks trying to get his mind focused on what he was doing. Honestly he was good at the subject he was studying for but even so that didn't mean that the test he was going to get would be easy.

Looking back into the books he began to read through the chapters seeing if he could find the answer to the question, but once green optics had glanced up for just a moment they caught a glimpse of someone who he went to school with before. As he set his sight on the male he smiled once he got the others attention. 

You are here! Proclaimed the placard map on the side of Maloise College. Kobato, on the other hand, was still completely befuddled where to make of her whereabouts. Her grandmother's old school, or at least the art building remnant, shouldn't have been too far where the current buildings of the local Pravian college stood.

She tugged the hems of her mellow verdant-colored outfit. The entire ensemble was matched in order to highlight a certain piece of a fragile, beloved piece of jewelry that her grandmother had cherished and passed down to her. A string of butterflies.

The long-haired teenager didn't wear any earrings herself, so the soft-colored earring was looped around her own hat, dangling like a cluster of spring butterflies. They swished in the cool March breezes, and from the corner of her eyes, darting to ascertain that the wings didn't tangle, she noted another person nearby, looking as if they'd identified something of interest. She instantly thought of the headpiece (they were, after all, the prized piece of her outfit) "Do you like them? My grandmum's friend made it, she called this one 'Pree-maa-ve-ra' and she always wears it on the first day of spring. Kobato is wearing them a little earlier, though! I thought, maybe spring will come earlier if I do."

Who would be the big spoon?

I think that really depends. Sachi is incredibly protective of people she cares about and as a result she would probably want to be big spoon for Rei more often than not (despite being almost half a foot shorter than him). However, I also think that Rei would want to be big spoon sometimes. I can see them arguing over it from time to time if Rei has had a bad day and Sachi wants to be big spoon as a result of that fact.

Who would wake up first?

Rei by a mile. Sachi oftentimes will wake up for work, fall back asleep, and then wake up 30 minutes later in a panic. Rei has a system and a schedule that he stands by. Although I think he would be the type to just stay in bed with her for awhile while she sleeps.

Do they have nicknames for each other?

I’m not sure. Sachi is a pretty playful person, so I can see her teasingly calling Rei her ‘prince’ from time to time. But as for serious nicknames, I have no clue.

What happened when they met each other’s parents?

Rei meeting Sachi’s mother was incredibly awkward for Sachi. Not because she didn’t like him or because she tried to get the two of them to marry. Instead, it was rough because Sachi’s mother barely paid Rei any attention other than a bored ‘oh, I see’. This was more than a little upsetting for Sachi because she had hoped that her mother would welcome him into their family warmly. Meeting Rei’s parents was also rough for the two of them.

How do they apologise after an argument?

It depends on the argument. If it’s over something silly, I think the both of them would sheepishly apologize after a few minutes. If, however, it is a more serious argument, it might take much longer to apologize. Both Sachi and Rei are very stubborn people. If Sachi feels as if she is in the wrong, she’ll be the first to apologize, though. Because she’d be worried about being misunderstood, chances are she would walk behind Rei and hold him from behind until he relaxed. Only then would she apologize to him - probably with her face buried in his back.

What would they be like as parents?

Adorable. Sachi would be the type of mom who would always want to do art projects with her children or encourage them to follow whatever dreams they had. Rei would certainly help their children with their homework and patiently answer every question they had, along with making sure their children had a realistic worldview unlike the dreamy vision their mother conjured up. All in all, they’d balance each other out nicely and have an incredibly happy home. As a bonus, they would totally read bedtime stories to their kids together - silly voices and all.

Who is the better cook?

Rei. Sachi can’t cook at all - an irony considering she works at Goodnight Sweets. However, she’d be more than willing to learn how to cook Rei’s favorite dishes for him.

Who is more romantic?

Sachi has an easier time expressing her emotions than Rei, so in the beginning it might be her. She’d do little things like bring him lunch at school or make him tea when he was studying so that he wouldn’t have to get up. For Sachi, it isn’t about grand gestures of love. In addition to that, Sachi is a very touchy-feely person. This means that she’d always want to be close to Rei. However, she’d respect his discomfort with being touched until he was comfortable enough to let her touch him.

What sort of gifts do they get for each other?

Sachi would most likely buy Rei stacks on stacks of books, even the ones that he would only express a passing interest in. Likewise, I think Rei would buy Sachi various art supplies if he realized that she was running low before she realized it.

Who gets jealous easiest?

They’re pretty much tied on this one. Sachi is pretty territorial and Rei wouldn’t want someone to take away a person he loves. Pray for anyone that touches Rei in even the most innocent way if they’re in Sachi’s field of vision.

Who gets more excited for events e.g.. Birthdays, Christmas?

Sachi gets outwardly excited more often than Rei does. However, unlike Rei, she doesn’t really possess the ability to plan. She’d be more apt to count down the days to his birthday - the intensity of her excitement overshadowing the fact that she hadn’t planned anything for it. The day of his birthday would probably see her rushing around Prava getting together everything to throw a makeshift party for him. Meanwhile, Rei probably plans for these things far in advance. The two of them are probably pretty tied on how excited they get.

Who is the most adventurous?

Sachi by far. She’d be the type to drag Rei out of his apartment late at night to go on a run to the local store for some random item. Because Rei’s world is so small compared to her own, Sachi would be compelled to show him everything she could.

Who is the most protective?

Another one where they’re almost tied. Sachi is easily the type of person to jump to attack the moment it seemed like someone was going to hurt Rei (emotionally or physically). Likewise, I don’t think Rei would take someone slighting Sachi very easily.

What would they have been like as childhood sweethearts?

Exactly the same as they are now: an awkward boy who doesn’t quite understand the girl in front of him and an energetic girl who wants to introduce him to everything she can.

The streets of Prava were full of people, decked out in festival finery - fancy dresses which cost more than she'd be able to make in a year, extravagent masks, and various gemstones cut to gleam just so the light provided by the strings of lights. Sachi had never seen so many people in one place. She'd had to push through the crowds since sunset - keeping a grip on her wrist to ensure no one grabbed the red scarf tied around it. For tonight, she'd been transformed. No longer was she the struggling artist, but instead seemed to have stepped from the pages of a fairytale. But then, the whole city itself seemed like something out of a legend - enchanted and mysterious. Fireworks boomed overhead, causing Sachi to lift her eyes from the ground - it was hard to walk in a floor-length gown with heels on brick streets, after all - to gaze at the sky. However, when she dropped them once more, she noticed a familiar sight.

␛ - An Angry Headcanon

Sachi has a poor temper. It doesn't take much to irritate her at all, especially if she's warned someone to stop whatever it is that's bothering her and they continue to do it. However, this is balanced out by the fact that once she 'blows up', she calms down relatively fast. Unless it's a very serious argument, she's usually back to normal within thirty minutes. If the person who is irritating her happens to be someone that she cares about deeply, she has a great deal more patience with them. That does not mean that she won't argue with them, though. If it happens to be a very serious argument, Sachi will inevitably sulk for the rest of the day instead of bouncing back to normal. The only time she will be the first to apologize is if she feels that she was, indeed, in the wrong.

ϡ - A Mental State Headcanon

Sachi hides a great deal of things behind a grin and a joking persona. Though she'd never admit to it, she's an incredibly lonely individual who spends a great deal of time lamenting the fact that she has very few connections in Prava. While she doesn't suffer from social anxiety, Sachi is apprehensive of forming actual lasting bonds beyond the initial meeting of people. This leads to a vicious cycle of loneliness, seeking out companionship, and then pushing that person away. She also probably suffers from mild depression due to the fact that her various manga projects continue to fail despite her best efforts.

Though Sachi tries her best to hide it, she’s actually a rather sentimental person. She’s faced a lot of hardship in her short life, after all. Normally, she would not answer this question seriously, stating that the song that describes her life best would be something like Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. If pressed, though, the song that Sachi feels fits her best is Once and for All by Clock Opera.
