(For anyone unfamiliar w Gachiakuta the weapons in the anime are called vital instruments which is why this prompt was the perfect excuse for me to throw my otp into one of my recent obsessions lmao)

#mayblade 2026#miesart#oh i am so making au’s that nobody but me cares for again lmao#no but fr i know of one other account on here who post stuff for both mfb and gachi (if you see this hello user masasibling/gachimasa :)) )#is this entire post a mess?? uh yeahhh i ran out of time#i’d like to properly figure this au out at some point tho#originally a was planning on making a full piece alongside the character design stuff#but I didn’t account for the fact that this was gonna take me FOUR WHOLE HOURS#if i ever end up making that piece remains to be seen#i imagine ginga’s jinki (pegasis) actually is a spinning top so I had to figure out smth else for hyōma and ryūga#i really wanted to turn aries into a weird mix between an instrument and a blowing horn used to warn others#but i also thought hyoma would be the perfect supporter (both because of his canon role and the fact that he’s actually strong (see ep15))#(he has a sleeper build trust)#so he gets the follo treatment#and also this way we can have him be all mischievous like in canon giving falls signals and tricking people heheh#also yeah ofc hyoma awoke aries while fighting ryuga it would not be fun otherwise 😈#i think l-drago’s concept his pretty straight forward but I hate how the awakened form looks in my sketch 😔#also i imagine eventually hyoma would manage to convince ryuga to help team akuta take down doji#(just like how he convinces him to help tsubasa in canon)#((and then they kiss /hj))#also ofc there would eventually be some conflict around ginga finding out hyoma is a spherite like him#(they are not childhood friends in this au :( )#but yeah lots to think about for me hehehe#beyblade#mfb#beyblade metal fight#beyblade metal saga#hyoma#ryuga#ryuhyo
