Hello everyone, Ryo Ryo talking here. I want to make an announcement, for all of you!

I will take what people call an Hiatus, an pause from tumblr and my AU's, the reasons are that i have not so many motivation oe interest on them, want to learn an new art style, and problems with stress on class.

This axolotl will be back, when i feel that i can, for now I will take this break and etc, maybe when i come back, some AU's will not be continued or some will be rewritten and some other will continue!

Morning! I’ll use 3 and 4 to talk about high-content, recognised ships. All hell will break loose when I answer question 20.

3. What’s your current OTP?

took me a while to think about this because as I said, not a big ship guy, but I’d have to concede and say Reibert. it’s probably the mainstream ship I think the most about, it’s between two of my favourite characters, and it satisfies my angst quota through virtue of canon events and my interpretation of Bertholdt not reciprocating or even fully realising Reiner is crushing hard on him. A fic that I’m currently writing has elements of Reibert ;)

4. What’s your current NOTP?

Does E/reri count? I don’t think I need to explain why I dislike this ship. Even post-timeskip it makes my hair raise. I’ve never met an Ereri shipper I’ve felt okay with. If I were to say something else less obvious, probably E/remika. I don’t abhor the ship, and actually enjoy a bit of content, but I’ve never had the interpretation that Mikasa’s feelings for Eren are romantic at all, so I can’t ever get it in terms of canon? some people think it’s undisputed fact that she likes him romantically, but I never saw it like that. it also makes me particularly uncomfortable for personal reasons, but I think I’m starting to get over that.

20. Talk about a ship you feel alone in shipping.

booooi here we go. I hyperfixate on a certain low-content rarepair... Berumin. I got into it quite innocently back in 2013 (before even Chapter 49, guys) when I saw some fanart in response to the 2013 guidebook listing them as close friends. They’re literally my favourite characters and I see a lot of myself in both of them, so that was it basically. It was thinking about how much I loved them that got me back into SNK late last year, and naturally I got a little bit of bad news while catching up with the manga. But I live off angst, so I think my interest in the ship has just intensified despite everything. I am literally the only active Berumin shipper, but one day I hope to convert more people despite their low content and kind of angst/crack nature. I think they make for a very kind of... dysfunctional pair?
