After the closure of Gardenview, what does each toon go on to do in life? Do brave souls still venture into Gardenview?
OOOH YEAH THIS PROMPT
Okay so, I don't have an answer for all the toons yet, but hopefully in the future I have the energy to make a master post that I can update as I get more ideas and elaborate upon.
For now enjoy this silly goofy, non-comprehensive list:
Vee: Ever since Gardenview's closure, she's been the host of multiple game shows over the years. As a result she's retained her fame and wealth.
Pebble: 2 time Oscar-winner actor. Yes, really.
Bassie: In my AU, she actually retired early from Gardenview than the rest of the toons. Hopefully I elaborate on this more some other day, for now know that she runs a flower shop.
Shelly: Works as a teacher at a community college. There's a noticeable disparity in the income she has compared with the other non-event mains.
Sprout: Used to work alongside Cosmo at a bakery the two opened, but a few years before the ichor operation, he accepted an offer to become a chef at a fancy, high-end restaurant.
Cosmo: Remained at the two's bakery as the sole working owner. He has human coworkers that help him out, thankfully, and the duo live together as roommates. Although the change was good for the duo economically, the decision drove a wedge between the two.
Looey, Yatta and Blot: The trio remained together and ended up getting a permanent show at a Las Vegas resort. They try to keep in touch with as many of their old coworkers as possible, oftentimes inviting the others to see their shows and stay at the resort for vacations.
Glisten: He did a series of odd jobs fresh out of Gardenview, but by the time of the ichor operation he's a famous YouTube makeup influencer. He experienced the HI SISTERS jumpscare firsthand.
Flutter: She became a novelist! Not much to say about her other than she found decent success and lives a good life.
Gigi: Became the manager of a dispensary perfectly topicless specialty store.
Scraps and Goob: The two work as teachers in the same elementary school. Goob has a sidegig as a powerlifter, bro got gains over the years!
Teagan: She managed to land a deal as a talk show host, which she has maintained ever since. She's the main breadwinner of the little family she ended up making with Rodger and Toodles.
Rodger: Works a very basic, run-of-the-mill office job. He runs a mystery podcast in his free time as a hobby.
Toodles: Girl's in middle school.
Finn: Fulfilled his dreams of becoming a fisherman in Maine. When are y'all going to stop eating shrimp with the wimps and come eat lobster with a monster?
Brightney: Also fulfilled her dreams. She works at a library!
Connie: Out of all the bizarre career paths she could've chosen, she picked becoming part of the LPGA.
Boxten and Poppy: The two live together as roommates. Poppy works as a party entertainer/part-time babysitter, while Boxten works as a repairman.
Shrimpo: Works as a construction worker.
Tisha: Tisha is an interesting case, because she's one of the few non-mains that's well off. However, unlike the mains she had to grind her way to that status. She started out in the hospitality industry as a housekeeper, and over the course of two decades worked her way up the ranks until becoming the manager of a resort.

As for the question of whether or not people venture into the abandoned Gardenview... Not really.
The toons were sentimental, and the ones that are well-off have managed to pay for security for the facility throughout all these years. That means that, despite being technically abandoned, Gardenview has remained with the lights on and the water running all this time.
In the AU, the only access to the lower levels of the center is through the above ground levels, which is where security is stationed. This has deterred urban exploration of the lower levels, and even security doesn't go down there. So, while the above ground levels are old but in a respectable state, the lower levels are in various stages of decay and disrepair.
