Ever since Chris pointed it out once Sebastian cannot unsee this - every time he sees Pongo, he realises anew that Ashley and Max are the real-life Anita and Roger. 

Sebastian has a lot of respect for Ashley who literally grew up in the business they are working in - especially also, when she outlines what other projects she wants to take on. If she ever wants to direct, he’ll be the first to throw his name in the cast ring. 

At parties, they make a point of having at least one shot together. They take turns choosing their poison.

Whenever Irina sees an item she knows Ashley would love during fittings or fashion week shows, she lets one of them get sent to her.

Every time Irina sees her and Max together, she is reminded just how cute and adorable being in love can be. 

Irina has been in a film before, but she didn’t particularly enjoy the experience - she has no natural talent for it. But she respects and supports those who are good at it. Ever since knowing Ashley was expanding into directing, producing and writing, too, her admiration for her has grown tenfold.

The first time Max saw Ashley as a brunette, he did a double take - how could she be even more gorgeous than usual? He silently mourns those looks since she went back to blonde, although he understands that she is trying to give her hair a break.

At almost 35, one would think he has enough self-restraint to keep his hands to himself in public, mainly during official events or premieres. He hasn’t - and they usually both profit greatly from it, eventually. 

Max supports Ashley's drive to go beyond acting fully. Whenever any doubts crop up about her going into directing or screenwriting or producing, he’ll be the first to try and diffuse them. While he isn’t as ambitious himself - all he wants to do is act, be it on a stage or in front of a camera - he knows it’s important to her, and therefore it’s important to him, too.

When she was younger, Sophia envied Ashley a little for her “California Dream” looks - she was petite, curvy and blonde to Sophia’s tiny, less curvaceous, dark complexion. Nowadays, she wouldn’t want either of them to be any other way.

They’ll visit each other frequently, and often graduate from tea or coffee to a bottle of wine shared between the two of them. Once that happens, Chris and Max know that they’ll be left with burning ears, because these two girls share everything with each other.

It was a no-brainer to make Ashley CJ’s godmother, while Chris chose Sebastian as her counterpart. She knows that, if push came to shove, their children would be loved and well taken care of by Ashley and Max.
