Avoidance had always been the best thing for Izzy. While it seemed a bit challenging with everything going on to avoid Ryder’s eyes, Izzy knows shit is weighing on his mind too. The Club, she knew, was looking for answers that never seemed to really come and Izzy’s been finding her own answers in the bottle of a pill bottle, staying out of their shared apartment as much as possible. Holly hasn’t loved it at all, considering she whines every time she heads out again, but it’s for the best. Ryder didn’t need to worry about her— she was going back to meeting next week for sure. She was going to delete her dealer's number this weekend for sure. She was going to go cold turkey next week for sure. Keeping her head down as she passes the kitchen and throwing a “Hey, baby,” as she passes, heading into her closet and his home office to change for work, taking off these clothes she’s been in. And before she knew it, she was heading back toward the door, throwing a “Have a good day,” to Ryder too. “Love you,” she adds for good measure.
