Are you excited for a new Circa Survive album, I want to be but I'm not really sure if I am...their last album didn't really do much for me, Violent Waves wasn't bad musically to me but the lyrics and subject matter were somewhere that I just wasn't feeling. There was a song here or there but I'd have to go back and listen to even point out what those were. I hope this album finds them back at the top of their craft.

Pianos become the teeth came out very strong with their first album for me, but then they kinda fade away under all the other bands that came out around that same time, also having a similar sound.
Now just like DGD they drop a new single for their upcoming album unlike DGD they have switched up their whole sound. From this one song it feels like Pianos have found their voice, the only thing I wonder is if this album will suffer from the one thing that I felt from their first...there wasn't very much diversity on it. Lets hope with the change in sound has also come more variety.
