Chloe sat on the end of a workout bench, staring at her face in the mirror. She had never been punched before, and honestly, she wasn’t a fan. Chloe had gotten in plenty of screaming matches, and typically was able to intimidate most people with her general demeanor, but that punch was enough to prove that she wasn’t actually prepared for a real fight if she ever needed to be. That’s when Chloe spotted Ryan approaching the same area of the gym. Ryan was a proper fighter. She could handle taking a punch, and Chloe had to wonder how? Ryan intimidated most people, Chloe included. But, they had come to some mutual understanding, and as far as Chloe understood it, friendship.  Chloe turned off pity party mode as quickly as she could, dragging her gaze away from her face in the mirror. “Hey,” She greeted, nodding her head in Ryan’s direction. “Already training for next olympics?”
