I'm a graduate of the University of British Columbia - Okanagan Campus in Kelowna British Columbia. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and a minor in Urban/Social Geography. My main focuses in History were Canadian Socio-Political History, History of the Canadian Prairies, Canadian History post 1945, International Relations of the 20th Century and African Decolonization.

I'm currently employed at Maple Bear Canadian Preschool, a member of Global Schools, in Zhengzhou China. I teach English to Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten aged children. I've been teaching in Zhengzhou for two years and have just resigned a contract for another six months, which will have me in China until December 30th, 2012.
