Kindred of the Carvings: AnniVersary (5)

The "XK" symbol represents the Kindred of the Carvings, the fictional cult my horror book is named after. I began work on the "KOTC project" back in June of 2021. I was 19 at the time. Today is the 23rd of June ... it's officially been 5 years. I'm 24 years old now, and so much has changed.
Although I've been working alone on this indie project for a long time, this community has changed my life for the better. I'm the farthest thing from perfect, but I've grown massively from who I used to be. My family's felt the change. So have I. Thank you for all your kindness, patience, and support. Without us, this project would be nothing. Together, we've come far.
Five years from today, how will things turn out? I used to be quite naΓ―ve, but I was never optimistic. It's only in recent years that I've started enjoying being alive. I'm excited and hopeful about the future. Time won't take that away from me. Things are difficult, but I'm going to keep on trying. 'Til the very end.
Kindred of the Carvings: Eliphas Lionised (card)

to treat (someone) as a very important and famous person
Both sides of the card have separate light sources. The light shining on the lion is top-down. By contrast, Eliphas' light source is beaming from the right. The shading isn't perfect, but I had fun π€
While texturing the lion, I took inspiration from Berserk, the manga. The way Miura used to draw Zodd the Immortal's fur has always captivated me. I accidentally learned a few new tricks while experimenting with ink.

I hope everyone remembers my last...and technically first post ever about a Kingdom of the Wicked/ Prince of sin series roleplay dc server.
Well after deleting everything and one frustrated scream later, it has been done! A storyline is still in work (but hey that can also develop with everybody!) and some stuff will get over time (its not perfect, its my first server, calm down PatrickπΉ/silly) but yeah if anyome wants to join and dive into the wotld of prince of sin or just talking about it, feel free to join!
