Radfems will in complete seriousness tell you that the patriarchy exists not because of the material benefits it brings men but because men were jealous of womens period cramps and dying in childbirth.
Women who have never been pregnant claiming the contributions mothers make to society are exactly the same as men who claim the contributions of all the men that fought in wars that they never did.
It's easy to make pregnancy sound like something men would be jealous of if you describe it as the magical ability to create life as if from thin air without drawbacks or consequences. Women do not "create life", they get pregnant and give birth. Who makes them pregnant? Men. If you chose to think about it for one minute, it's obvious the concept of 'womb envy' is ridiculous. But women don't want to think about it, they want to believe they are inherently special and perfect without having to achieve anything.
There is no material difference between this idea and white supremacy. Most feminist women's beliefs are not based in logic or evidence but in a desire to see themselves as a special, superhuman being incapable of wrongdoing.
