now that i've seen your recent homestuck fanart i- i really want to read it, but everything i hear about it sounds so cursed. i'm so close though. to be honest, i wanted to read it since the first time i saw you talk about it. the quarantine is slowly getting to me, am i slowly losing my mind? i didn't think, i'd ever consider reading homestuck, but look at me now.
Its kind of an inside joke amongst homestucks to say its cursed and yes the fandom was.....intense....BUT its a very good story that i absolutely recommend. The best advice i could give is to grit your teeth and get through act 1 because it is INCREDIBLY boring and you will want to drop it but it introduces the kids and pretty necessary.
I love homestuck but its A LOT don't be afraid to google things or wiki if you dont understand something THATS NORMAL homestuck was super confusing and its just so complex theres paradoxes, alternate timelines, multiple versions of a character etc. As well as random references plopped in lol
Overall its a cool ass story that also explores coming of age, exploring sexuality, complex issues and family dynamics, the shipping is also super fun courtesy of the alien trolls views on love and shit, amazing soundtracks And of course.....my babies....davekat...
