Ako na siguro yung pinakamaswerteng babae sa mundo, para mahalin ng taong mahal na mahal ko. Ramdam ko po yung efforts nya para mapasaya lang ako. (: Sorry, ginawa ko kasi tong diary, ang saya saya ko kasi. Feeling ko kumpleto na yung buhay ko. Kasi may Vien na magaalaga sakin. May pamilyang strong, relatives na masarap kasama.

Ang sarap sarap sa pakiramdam na pag gising mo may magtetext sayo, may makakausap ka kapag namimiss mo. Yung pupuntahan ka. Simple efforts lang masaya na ko e. Kahit bago palang, parang kilalang kilala ko na sya. Mabait. Ang sarap ng feeling na napakapossesive nya, kasi alam kong hindi “pa” sya mawawala sakin. Kung iwan man nya ko maglalaslas ako. Joke. Hahaha. Siguro iiwan nya lang ako kapag may nagawa lang naman siguro akong mali diba? :( =)) pero hndi din sguro, kung mahal nya ko kahit isang milyon na pagkakamali pa yung magawa ko hndi sya bibitaw, DIBA? Gagawin ko ang lahat para lang mapasaya ang kaisa isang lalakeng mahal na mahal ko. :)

          When I first found out about my section in ENGLCOM, I felt annoyed at the fact that I was not in the same section as to my barkada. It made me feel as though I was alone and that I thought that I did not know anybody. At one point, I wanted to move sections because I felt so isolated sitting at the back. But because of the new friends I made, things changed. I learned a lot about the people around me. They were very welcoming and friendly, which I didn’t expect them to be. I actually thought I was going to be the loner in the room but boy I thought wrong.

          Weeks passed by and wow it’s almost the end of the term. I would be missing having to see them everyday in that classroom. Having to share that bonding experience where we all got along even though we weren’t as close. Having to talk about the most random things that come to our minds. All those little things really did put an impact as to how I love this class. I mean who knew that from the start of it all I didn’t even want to be in this class but now, it’s like I never wanted it to end.

            These people are no doubt, great. They have shown me that they are open to everyone. To my teachers, thank you for being able to put up with us. Through the good times and the bad (whoa ano toh kanta? =)) ) you were there for us. They educated us on how much power communication has and the things under it. To the new friends I’ve made, thank you for accepting me to the group (yung ENGLCOM group jk). I really felt the unity of the class even if I wasn’t part of the block or somewhat. To my house, thank you for putting up with me. I know I’ve been completely stressed with everything the past weeks and I’m sorry for that but know that you guys helped ease the pain of it. To the other people that I wasn’t able to talk to cause you were on the other side of the room, I’ll gladly hope we get to talk this week cause it’s the last 2 sessions of ENGLCOM *sad face* and I also want to thank you guys for your presence. Your smiles, hi’s, and all those other little gestures uplifts me already having to be visible in class (cause I sometimes feel invisible awwwts).

                       Other ENGLCOM classes as to what I have observed are not as close and united compared to my class and boy do I not regret having to be placed in this section because indeed, this was the highlight of my term. Having to be able to spend classes with these people from Mondays to Thursdays. I realized that friends don’t just start at the first and second term of the freshman days. As long as you are open, welcoming, and kind-hearted, relationships can indeed develop from thereon out. (Develop by means of friendship) I really do hope to see your beautiful faces next term and I do hope you enjoyed the class as much as I did cause… we have class. B-)

            Time after time has always been the odds-on favorite of everyone during the 80’s. Up until now, this song is still known and has been covered by so much famous singers including Alex Goot, Saosin, and so much more. This song is no doubt one of the timeless classics in the music industry because it had caught the attention of many before, and up until now that even our generation knows about this song and is familiarized with the lyrics and the beat. Cyndi Lauper first recorded it in the year 1984 and it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. It was also nominated for Song of the Year in the 1985 Grammy Awards.

            Cyndi Lauper indicated that the lyrics from this song came from occurrences in the studio and her life at the time. She conceived the title, “Time After Time,” in a magazine seeing the 1979 Malcolm McDowell film of the same name, and there the song was further made.

            So what is the message of this song for me? Well I believe this song is for 3 different people: The family, the lover, and the long-distanced friend.

  The Family

  The message is depicted for the family of how one can be there for the other at times of distress. I imagine one of my parents singing this song to me that whatever happens, they would just be there for me no matter how long it would take. The value of family then is promoted and that the memories will always be cherished and never forgotten.

  The Lover

  The message is depicted for the lover of how he/she is willing to wait for you to come back to his arms. It shows from the song that they are separated from each other but though they are in a situation like this, he/she is trying to tell her that no matter what happens, he would just be there for you giving you the time and love you deserve. (as presented in the music video)

  The Long Distanced friend

  This can be for best friends, close friends, or even family friends. It shows how much one can give the best advices even though they are far apart from each other. She/he then tells you that as a friend, she/he is just there for you time after time. Here we see how much of a concerned friend she/he is that no matter what obstacles you are to face, your friend will just be there to support and encourage you to do better.

            So, who created this message? I believe Cyndi Lauper and Rob Hyman did after staying in the studio for several hours after their sessions to compose such an amazing song with a very deep and beautiful message.

            The Creative techniques that were used were the voicing, the beat, the loops, and how it does not seem to contain usual instruments such as the drums, guitar, and the grand piano. It sounds somewhat computerized during the 1980’s though computers weren’t as much used during that time so it was unusual and different to why I liked this song. It has such a unique way of keeping the song on-going without people thinking that it is just noise they hear.

            I feel that the message is indeed striking for everyone. The target audience in this song seems to be compatible to almost everyone because not everyone can stay in the same place forever. There will come a time when letting go will be the best solution because it is part of growing up, letting go of the people you love for their own benefit. With it, I feel the sadness, loneliness, and heartbreaking feeling in this song because it is the sad reality that not everyone will be physically present in our lives forever.

            Different people can understand this message based on their own perspectives.  Others say it is about friends, others say it is about love for a couple and so on. It just really depends on how one can understand it from what he has learned from his culture, lifestyle, and experiences.

          As I said a while ago, it promotes the value of life, love, and family by the message of the song through its lyrics.

In our world today, there are only a few people who can handle both their life and work at ease. The others who are having a hard time, often break down and burn out. The word work-life balance may be small for most people and they underestimate it, but in reality, it is a big word and affects a lot of people.

The effects of work-life balance may vary for each and everyone, it actually depends on how they take it on. But many fail to keep up with work-life balance and end up failing. 

People are still finding and developing ways on handling and dealing with work-life balance. The importance of work-life balance must be taken seriously because even work-life balance may bring huge danger.

Work and life, two different things but go completely hand in hand. That’s where work-life balance walks in. Work-life balance is truly important.

As said in the video, if you work too long and too hard, a lot of results will come up. Your hobbies will be gone, your social life and your family suffers and you might even begin to lose your sense of self-identity. The worst thing that may also happen is that you might even burn out.

The video may look violent to others but this short clip is very effective and is a great way to demonstrate the necessity of work-life balance. I really find this video very helpful, setting aside the violence shown in the video. It teaches us the importance of life balance in just a matter of seconds, but in that short period of time, the message being said that work-life balance is important is being sent and delivered to us. And by that, we absorb it and learn from it. This is a really good short clip.

I saw this photo in a website and it really caught my attention. This photo says a thousand things and each and everyone of us will think differently on what it says but in the end, the point of this photo is that work-life balance is important. 

Many years from now, people will learn to appreciate the value of work-life balance and our world will change for the better.

This is a really great blog article. I agree with everything she stated here. I really like the fact wherein she said that people should define success in their own terms. With that, You will achieve more, and take control over your time for yourself. I can say that this blog article will help a lot of people who are encountering work-life balance problems.

Work-life balance is a daily effort to make time for family, friends, community participation, spirituality, personal growth, self care, and other personal activities, in addition to the demands of the workplace.

With this being said, you already know that work-life balance is a very important thing.

Work-Life balance, this term is very common most especially for adults. In our world today, a lot of people are experiencing a very hard time in maintaining their life and work balanced. 

This website discusses and explains to us what work-life balance is and its effects to people. 

I can say that for most people, especially employees, work-life balance is a challenge. If you don't know your priorities, you will surely have a hard time in managing both your life and your work.
