Our first finds! #rvarocks (at Cheswick Park)

Recently, we were introduced to a community-wide project called RVA Rocks! Basically, individuals, families, classrooms, etc. paint rocks and hide them around the RVA area to brighten other people's day :) We found our first rocks yesterday and it was super exciting! I had a thing for rock collecting growing up and Ylana showed interested about a year and a half ago, bringing rocks that she found to be "beautiful/adorable/etc." into the home. We've started a mini rock (and some sticks, lol) collection and this RVA Rocks! has just made it so much more fun! I told her that she can keep two rocks at a time but we will hide the rest for others to find :) Sometime this week, we are going to get a few rocks, some paint, a few brushes and some sealer and make a few of our own rocks to hide around!
