i found this girlie secondhand for a damn good price.

she was packaged securely, but it wasnt overdone, and thank god, no stupid plastic tabs in her head at all

size comparison with a barbie. Poseys wings are detachable, and just a transparent plastic sheet with the design printed on. ngl i kinda prefer it over the fabric wings Elina has, as the fabric warps and i feel can get ripped more easily.

her shoes and corset are made of this... gummy plastic. pretty sure all her clothes can be removed- i cant be arsed to do it but everything has tabs/velcro, so.

she comes with no accessories aside from the comb, which, frankly, will be of no use, as proved by the above video...

Found her secondhand for really cheap. Seems that the box wasn't ever really opened. Tiem to change that :3

Soft Fully Skin Pose-able......

God I miss when dolls were this easy to open.

Her whole body is poseable, because it's all bendy. Her hands don't have the wire in them, though, so good luck with posing those.

I guess because of the way rubbery stuff is cast on top of wire skeletons, she's full of holes. She's also very wobbly. Her head is pretty much a bobblehead. It's hard to make her stand...

...but it's soooo fun to pose her. Fucking slay.

Casual doll collector. I barely know what I'm doing.

I want to collect at least 1 of each fashion doll brand. Especially early 2000's ones. There's plenty so I don't count knockoffs (unless they're really interesting....) I think I'll try to limit myself to 1/6 scale non-collector dolls, but even then it may be a sisyphean task lmao

She can't sit down without nuking her pants.

Piny - Institute of New York.... Seems to be related to those tiny PinyPon figurines.

It has a very cute package.

It seems that normally, these dolls have only 5 points of articulation, but this one has more- the knees and elbows have hinge joints, and the hands and waist are on swivels. The stand she's on is meant to have a green background, as her gimmick was to make greenscreen videos of her with some app. It even comes with a chunky phone stand.

I thought her eyes would be printed on, but they're inset. However, they are not glassy- they seem to be just regular plastic but with eyes printed on top of it. The mouth looks a bit misprinted, but that's okay. Modern Barbie dolls tend to do worse.

Her shoes are removable.... no feet.

Her clothes are pretty cheap, the jacket and shirt are one piece and the belt is printed on. Her hair feels nice though, and seems decently rooted, though her hairdo is so tight I'm scared to undo it XD

The base can be flipped upside down, and it's hollow inside. There were these mysterious elastic straps inside- turns out, you can put a piece of plastic inside and watch those lil hologram concerts!

Apparently she's exclusive, but somehow a shop in my country had her. The packaging looks so attractive :O

The gimmick is that you mix some blue fluid, and then press the crystal, which, I assume releases some powder that makes the fluid clear and reveals the doll. I generally don't like toys which gimmick is the unpacking experience, as it tends to leave a lot of waste and an underwhelming toy, but this doll looked so cute I had to get it.

All the stuff that comes with the bottle. 2 packets of the fluid and some paper charms that don't fully dissolve, and accessories wrapped in paper that does sorta dissolve.

I didn't take photos of the process, because waterplay gets messy so I had to be focused. I'll admit, the blue liquid turning clear and revealing the doll behind it was cool. Then I took it out and....

The blue liquid leaked into the bottle with the doll inside.... luckily, the instructions said it doesn't stain, so I ran to wash it out, and they weren't lying, there's no trace of it on the dress. The collector's booklet thingy got soaked tho. When I checked other posts on tumblr I saw people's dolls get hit with the blue liquid too, so I think the packaging is just not fully waterproof.

This is the doll stand btw. I think it sucks ass. It's thin and light, so the slightest movement knocks the doll over. The shoes are rubbery so it doesn't hold her well anyway.

But all is forgiven...

Here she is with an enchantimal for comparison. Her face is a tiiiiny bit blurry but nothing too bad. I thought they'd have glass eyes like Failfix, but nope, everything's printed. And her dress and staff are a bit wonky. But she is so pretty I can't be mad at all.

She has jointed elbows, so that's more than an Enchantimal. Other dolls from Pixlings lines have molded-on tops, but this one doesn't.

I feel like Moose Toys makes the prettiest dolls. I liked every doll line from them so far. I almost feel tempted to buy another doll from this line.
