Okay, so don’t imagine Billy and Steve hanging out at the Harrington’s pool, and Steve asking Billy if the water reminds him of the ocean. And Billy tipping his head back and laughing, “yeah... it’s not even close.” And then pushing Steve, unceremoniously, into the pool.
aw fuck i was watching x files but im here now
“What the fuck, Hargrove?!” Steve shot out of the water with his voluminous hair drenched with water, falling flat over his eyes. He meant to sound more aggressive, but it’s hard to be mad when your gorgeous boyfriend is smiling widely at you from the edge of the pool.
“This’ll never compare to the San Diego beach,” Billy started, “but I’m here with you.” Steve blushed. Billy usually wasn’t affectionate, verbally or physically, but he’d sometimes drop a casual ‘I love you’ or light kisses on the cheek when Steve was never expecting it, and they never failed to make his face turn red.
“You blushing in there, Harrington?” Billy finished the beer in his hand and tossed the empty can into the wastebasket by the door.
“It’s the sun,” Steve lied. Like a liar.
Billy smirked and hopped into the pool and slowly walked over to Steve. He slid his arms around Steve’s waist and held him close.
“You sure about that?” Billy murmured in a low voice behind Steve’s ear. Steve’s face turned redder than it’d already been. There was no way he was going to let Billy see him like this, so without a word, Steve turned around and shoved his lips against Billy’s. Billy’s eyes closed shut with the contact, but his lips formed a smile and mouthed a little something that made Steve squirm in embarrassment.
“Knew it”
