One possible way to contradict Bergsonian and Husserlian conceptions of the musical perception (i.e "one perceives a melody when one perceives a continuity through time) is the existence of melodic fission. But the example given by the wikipedia page is maybe less telling than this piece of Christian Sinding, called "Frülingsrauschen" - another very useful german word to add in my vocabulary - "the rustle of spring", or, in french "le gazouillement du printemps". :)
