Rustan’s Colors and Petals
Such a lovely sunset party. March is consistent in being a month of firsts, with this one as my first attempt at shooting runway events, but ahh, I shan’t let the bad 30% outweigh the pretty 70%. You be the judge; full set here. ☺
Our weekend out on a hot sunny day :)
• Museum visit is actually fun. You get to see a lot of cool old stuff
• Cold halo-halo on a hot afternoon
• The Pinakbet rice from Yumyum Tree (by Rustan’s supermarket) is a winner for only Php125.00! That is already good for 2 persons
• Surely gonna miss somebody for a week or so -_-
• I kind of hate the (what feels like) ‘long trip’ going back home at the end of the day, it would only mean one thing -Good bye, THAT I hate the most.
•So long for now..

French Toast
Are you into jazz, bossa nova, pop or a mix of the three genres? Then this single is perfect for you. Basically, I'd called this type of music as lounge or chill music but I don't know some label it as electro. Music like this is often heard at coffee shops and/or high-end boutiques (Rustan's U @ G4 as an example). A must for city lovers like me. By the way, J is a girl. Tracklist: 01 10 02 Toast (with Humming Urban Stereo) 03 누가 그녀들에게 입 맞추고 가였는가 (Nuga Geunyeodeuregeh Im Matchugo Gayeoneunga) Now Playing: J - 10
NARS X ANDY WARHOL PHOTO BOOTH SET: SILVER FACTORY (SWATCHES)
I had to attend a black-and-silver-themed party a few days ago and it couldn't be more perfect! I love wearing black - it's classy and it makes me look thin. And I have the Silver Factory polish to wear on my nails.
Andy Warhol has a silver-foiled studio which he named 'The Factory', and this is where Silver Factory got its name.
I'm in love with the formula. It's not thick, it's not watery, just perfectly in the middle.
You might think that the texture is a bit rough with all the shiny particles in this polish, but it is 100% smooth.
I love how it instantly added some glitz and glamour to my nails.
Let me just say this in the most Agnes (Despicable Me) voice I can manage: It's so shiny I'm gonna die!!
Next up: Swatches for Back Room
NARS x Andy Warhol Collection is now available in Rustan’s The Beauty Source
Rustan's Department Store
If you know me, you would know that my favorite store in the Metro will still be Rustan's. Old School and all, i've been shopping there since I was 11, thanks to daddy dearest, who gave me a Rustan's Discount Card for my 11th Birthday. Rustan's was just a block away from my house before so every weekend, it is sure that I would be found wandering around the store and its precious offerings. There was a time that whenever there is a FSP sale, you will be sure I will be the last customer out. They would call me for advanced screening, and I could have everything wrapped and picked up some other day without the rush of the crowd. When I started working further away from the house though and my schedule became quite hectic, store hours consumed, my visits became so limited that I probably only get to shop at Rustan's once a year! It's still early this year, and I hope it's not the last, but today I did get to visit!!! I arrived early enough since I still have to go to work, and basked in the familiar greetings, scents, smiles, service, and luxurious products which immediately lifted up my spirits. I browsed around a bit, and finally chose a gift for my mom. What amazes me about Rustan's is the unwavering dignity it has kept despite all the rumors of hardship and all. Employees morale remain high, and they continue to spread their complete services with a smile. A lot of familiar faces continued to greet you. The sales people are very very courteous and accommodating, and the items are actually reasonably priced. For the younger generation, who probably thinks Rustan's is some sort of a dinosaur, you really should go in and have yourself pampered sometime, then you will know the difference. Outside, the world is chaotic and hectic, but inside Rustan's there will always be a slice of comfort, of peace and of home.
