This Bible belong to my grandfather and before that to his grandfather I think it was published in the beginning of 19 century my grandfather from the father side. He had education of three years reading and writing only. My grandfather was called Ivan Bogoslowsky he was a carpenter he built boats and houses he lived in a very little village on the bank of the river Volga. He lived until age 79. He never traveled further away than 30 miles away from his house. He didn’t believe the earth is a sphere. He always said the earth is flat. He raised a family of four children and after his wife passed away in 1958 he adopted a woman with three sons. He was a Russian Christian orthodox from the church of “old believers”(there are many old believers in Alaska ) which means my family did not reform in 17 century ( as Peter the Great tried to reform Russia) as some of Russians did.
