Could anybody explain to me the phenomenon of Kiss the rock band? I'm a radical feminist, I think they are insanely misogynistic. I wonder why Rush, quite cultured band, toured with them. RIP Ace Frehley, but he wasn't saint.

Rush refused to be accommodating for people from my own country - Poland and even from many other countries. No book, movie translations into Polish, no equivalent of RushCon in Poland, not to mention no concert in Poland and Geddy Lee's (himself of Polish descent) and Neil Peart's vendetta against Poland and Polish fans, sources: My Effin' Life and Shunpikers in the Shadowlands. And you expect some of the female fans from Poland to show up, for instance? Female fans were laughed at for mentioning they like Rush and Geddy Lee's effeminate voice they called "gay" in some cases. And in Rush fanbases, there is bizarre gatekeeping going on, that Rush is only a band for men, due to how complex their time signature-ridden songs are. And also, Rush needs to come to terms with the fact that The Runaways were bullied by them and who knows if women didn't feel victimized by them, when they met some of the members, because I used to read bizarre theories about them.
Still excluded from Rush fandom over antipolonism and misogyny there.

I’ll go first. Rush. They haven’t made any more music since the drummer Neil Peart died back in 2020 and no one listens to progressive rock anymore. But I’d love to see if anyone else has any other bands that they are one of few remaining fans of!
